The non-profit organization is dedicated to delivering high-quality early childhood education and child care services. It supports more than 9,600 children across Southern California and offers preschool programs, after-school enrichment, and nutrition support across more than 75 locations.
The organization interacts daily with families, educators, and local childcare providers. Its facilities are child-appropriate and convey a sense of modernity.
The Challenge
The organization came to us seeking a signage partner who could deliver a full-service experience with exceptional quality and creativity for their new site in Chino. They were relocating to a new, larger and open office suite and needed some help creating something original and in line with their design ideas.
Their goal was clear: the signage needed to capture the organization’s unique mission, values, and welcoming ethos, while seamlessly blending with the contemporary aesthetics of their office space.
To ensure a seamless experience, they required a signage company capable of handling every aspect of the project—from design through to production and installation.
Of course, the signs had to be visually appealing and durable. Above all, the organization needed a partner that understands their brand values and could translate them into impactful signage.
The Solution
VizComm Signage Group worked with their interior design company on aligning signage with their furniture and design planned for the site. From the outset, we were clear on the importance of aligning signage with the organization’s unique site plan. Moreover, our team was mindful that the signage had to fit into their operational needs.
Our experienced design team worked closely with the organization, guiding them through material selection and creative concepts. Together, we chose precision crafted, multiple layer workstation and office signage. This would allow them control over changing identification on who’s name was presented at that station. The build assures versatility and durability.
The process was borne from collaboration. We created and shared several design mock-ups that their team was able to choose from. Once they were satisfied that it aligned well with the brand and office design, the sign was sent for production.
The second part of the project was privacy and design frost materials for the open space conference rooms. This was a challenging project as it required die cutting frosted vinyl in order to capture their unique design look with triangles. This is a complicated process to create. But, the outcome is unusual and creative.
Our team utilized 300 yards of frosted vinyl materials for the site. We spent weeks prepping the materials (cutting and back taping for application) and then went onsite to get this project installed. Installations of this much material can be challenging, and the application on glass panes that wrap around corners can be challenging. It takes highly skilled team members to align a detailed design like this.
The Result
The finished signage transformed the organization’s office. The acrylic blends sophisticated branding with practical functionality. The prominent logo provides a memorable focal point, while the sign’s engineering means it is constructed to deliver years of hassle-free service with little need for maintenance.
The response from our client was overwhelmingly positive. They expressed delight at how accurately the signage captured their organization’s design. The project’s success is about the clear understanding of our client’s needs and a focus on small details.
